GlobalMac Consulting is the only Lightspeed Reseller in the state of Ohio that holds the Advanced Certification for Lightspeed (Other are signed up as resellers, but that does not guarantee they have any hands on experience setting up and using the software. We have both attended the Lightspeed Certification Camps, completed a certain number of implementations AND passed the Advanced Certification test. We work with all types of retail stores, both that will be opening up a new store and those that are looking to upgrade their old Windows-based POS system to the new and current Mac-based Lightspeed solution. We work with you from beginning to end, serving as your consultant to assist you with the move to Lightspeed. While most of our installations are in the Greater Cleveland area, we can and do travel to meet with clients in Akron and Cincinnati. Most installations take one day for the hardware and database configurations so if you are out of town, we plan everything ahead of time, then come to you for the initial setup and all support and training after is provided remotely.

- We purchase all the hardware and software you will need.
- Provide you with the right connections to lease your Macs directly from the Apple Stores, if you prefer, to help with cash flow and minimize cash outlay in buying all new systems.
- Setup and configure the database for your business and setup all the hardware with the proper backup solutions in play. (We are an Apple Consulting Firm first, so we always take a holistic look at your systems (backups, data recovery, etc) , not just Lightspeed).
- Initial and ongoing training.
- Most importantly, we are flexible in how we work with you and understand our clientele. Everyone wants to be involved in their IT systems in varying levels. Some of our clients have us fully take care of everything and call us for quick support anytime they need anythings. Others are more likely to rea the manual and troubleshoot a bit before calling us. We are absolutely fine with either or and every varying degree in between.
